About me,

I was born in rural France in 1988, and developed a strong interest in art and nature at a young age. Tattooing was always around when I was growing up and I distinctly remember the first Japanese bodysuit I saw in my father’s biker magazines. I was completely shocked, and understood it was a pure art form. In that moment I realized I wanted to be a tattooer.

After I completed a masters degree in Design at the Beaux Art, I went back to my first love of drawing and tattooing.

A three year apprenticeship in one of France oldest tattoo shops gave me a good base. But I needed a bigger challenge to improve, and I left everything for a life out of a suit case, and went on a three year journey around 13 countries to meet my heroes and develop my work. It led me to spend a great amount of time in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Cultures that had and continue to have a great visual and personal impact on me. I had the chance to study with masters in the tattoo and the art world, and meet great people on the way who gave me support.

In 2018 I decided to stop and joined the legendary Seven Doors tattoo in London. There I decided to dedicate myself to refining my skill in large scale tattooing and focus on studying Japanese traditional tattoo. I’m absolutely obsessed with composition and balance.

Today my work can be separated in two categories;

First, traditional Japanese Wabori. Respecting the codes and the tradition of a culture I deeply admire. I take pride at studying stories, Ukiyo-e and the work of Japanese masters. I care about sharing this knowledge with my clients.

The second category is inspired by my love for Asian art, and echoes memories of my childhood’s rural France. It’s a personal interpretation of what an ideal body suit would look like and an exercise of composition and elegance.

I love tattoos that we hide, I like tattoos that we reveal to the worthy. I like tattoos that are a treasure to oneself, and I absolutely love the journeys that my dear clients and I take together. I hope you will enjoy this small part of my portfolio and invite you to follow me on social media to see more.

If you would like to collaborate with me for your tattoo, big or small, you know where to find me.
